U.S.TAEKWONDO INSTITUTE RULES

*Out of respect for the class, the instructor, and yourself, come to class on time. Remain for the entire class. (If you must leave at a specific time, speak with the instructor before class.)

*For the benefit of everyone - come to your classes with a clean body (especially clean feet).

*Upon entering the studio, stand with your feet together. As you bow, say, "YONGDO". Yongdo means THE WAY OF THE DRAGON. This is the proper greeting to your instructor and to your dojang. Remove your shoes and put them downstairs on the shoe rack. Bow to the Taekwondo flags whenever you enter and leave the dojang.

*Please remove your hat before entering the dojang.

*If you are coming to a lesson or have just finished a class, please respect the class in progress by QUIETLY going downstairs (or upstairs) and when leaving the school. Please advise your friends that the front seating area is also a quiet area.

*Only take attendance card out if you are going to participate in class.

*Remove all jewelry before participating in class and have nails trimmed.

*When called to attention by the Head Instructor or Senior Belt, always answer respectfully, "Yes sir!" or "Yes ma'am!"

*Never miss class without a sufficient cause. It is your responsibility to call in.

*While in the studio, respect for one another must be honored at all times.

*You must respect the property of others.

*You are responsible for repairs, or replacement of anything damaged by you (or your child).

*After each class, clean your dojang, dressing rooms, and rest rooms, without being told to.

*No eating, drinking, smoking, or chewing gum in the dojang or in the dressing rooms.

*For a better understanding of your lessons, please ask questions after class and during rest periods.

*DO NOT COME HERE UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF DRUGS OR ALCOHOL.

*Remember ... we are all learning and practicing together, mistakes are inevitable. Have patience and understanding of your fellow students.
